Alan Elworthy is Vice President of Sales at 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. He oversees the company's sales, marketing, client service and events organizations, and is responsible for the global revenue of all 451 Research products and services. Over his 12+ years at 451 Research, Alan has driven the development of critical commercial relationships across all major client segments – service providers, technology vendors, financial institutions and enterprise organizations. Alan is dedicated to ensuring that 451 Research continues to grow, that our client organizations find continual and maximum value in their investment, and that those clients consider 451 Research a strategic partner for their growth and success. Before joining 451 Research in 2008, Alan held multiple revenue-focused roles at Thomson-Reuters and IDC. With 17+ years of customer-facing experience in the IT research and business information industries, Alan brings 451 a unique perspective on why customers need research services, and how they best consume them.
