As Senior Manager for 451 Advisors at 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence, Bob Winter is the senior executive overseeing consulting and custom research engagements for IT vendors and investors. With 30-plus years in the business, spending equal time on the vendor and consulting sides of the desk, Bob drives real-world analysis and recommendations that are executable and measurable. His domain knowledge is vast and covers all parts of IT infrastructure and channels, with special focus on storage and security. He was an early client of 451 Research at EMC (now Dell EMC), where he led the storage giant's global market planning and market research functions. Other previous positions include Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for PKware, and Senior Managing Director for Reality Research and Consulting, a division of United Business Media.
