Biography

Gilad Nass covered the carrier and telecom infrastructure space and focused on both wired and wireless telecom, from the semiconductor level up to the base station and router level. He also contributed to coverage of wireless issues within the enterprise.

Before joining The 451 Group, Gilad cofounded and comanaged the Emerging Technologies venture at IDC, which tracked early-stage startup companies in the communications, consumer technologies, semiconductor and Internet space. He also participated in multiple positioning projects with early- and mid-stage startups, supplying relevant market analysis and advice on how to choose the right market, partners and end-user segments. In addition, he covered the Israeli telecommunications market, including infrastructure, service providers, services, handsets, networks and enterprise communications.

Prior to his position at IDC, Gilad was a Senior Technology Editor and columnist at Globes, Israel's financial newspaper. During his tenure at Globes, he covered the local and international technology scene, with a special focus on Israeli startups in various fields. He was also an editor and correspondent at Sivan.com, an Israeli technology news site that is a joint venture of Walla Communications and Sivan school of computer studies.
