With a focus on low-code automation and robust third-party integrations, the company is helping teams manage security operations through a single platform and positioning itself as the system of record for security reporting and documentation.
With the deal, Sophos continues its security shopping spree and adds a host of new vendor integrations, as well as intelligent alert management and automated threat response capabilities. This should put the acquirer more in line with rivals in the XDR, SIEM and SOAR sectors.
Identity and access security has emerged as a critical front-line defense for enterprise security, as well as an important capability for providers building out an extended detection and response platform. SentinelOne is looking to round out its platform by reaching for Attivo's identity assessment, protection and deception technology.
