Biography

Joshua Levine covers the intersection of macroeconomic and IT industry trends for 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. He served as an advisor for the 451 Alliance's Leading Indicator panel, whose industry-leading surveys provide data on the direction of the overall economy and trends in consumer and business technology buying plans, and as editor of its flagship publication since 2007.

Prior to joining 451 Research, Joshua produced a financial website – NextWaveStocks.com – which captured a Best of the Web honor from Money Magazine. He also introduced NextWave 100, the first and only small-cap technology stock index, and developed Technodynamic Investing, a proprietary methodology for analyzing and valuing technology stocks. Previous Wall Street experience included positions as a vice president of research and corporate finance at Herbert Young Securities, an investment bank for late venture-stage companies, and as a financial consultant to several Nasdaq-listed firms for which he spearheaded outreach programs to institutional investors, portfolio managers and analysts.

Joshua has an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master's degree in Specialized Journalism at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
