Biography

Linda Barrabee was Research Director, Consumer Insights at 451 Research. She was responsible for the company’s consumer end-user research and market analysis across mobile and emerging technology and service markets. She has more than 20 years of experience analyzing markets for mobile and wireless services and technologies.

Previously, Linda was director at the NPD Group, where she was responsible for the content practice, focusing on how consumers use, access and pay for content and services on connected devices, platforms and networks, and the impact of disruption on the consumer experience and ecosystem participants. She spent seven years at the Yankee Group, where she spearheaded coverage of consumer mobile content services and associated business models, including mobile marketing and advertising. She also spent six years at Pyramid Research, providing international market analysis and consulting services to the communications industry. Linda has been quoted in leading industry trade and business publications, including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, BusinessWeek and Forbes, and has been a featured speaker at key industry events, including CTIA, SXSW, Mobile Marketing Association and Interactive Advertising Bureau forums.

Linda holds a BA from Trinity College in Connecticut and an MBA with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
