Why This Attendee Keeps Returning to #451HCTS, Year After Year
Adam Tamburini, Development Director at e-shelter, will be travelling to Las Vegas for his fourth Hosting + Cloud Transformation Summit this year. We sat down with Adam to hear more about his experiences and what brings him back to HCTS year after year.

#451HCTS: Hi Adam, appreciate you chatting with us. As a long-time attendee, what has been the most valuable aspect of attending HCTS for your company?

AT: The exposure to the thought leaders in the industry, the quality of the content in the 451 Research presentations, and the opportunity to meet a great deal of senior people from peers, customers and financiers in one location.

#451HCTS: As an EMEA-based organization, what are the advantages of coming to a conference based in North America?

AT: The datacenter industry is very much led out of the US. Particularly with the advent of Cloud, many of the biggest occupiers of space are US-based. It therefore makes sense for us to understand the initiatives that are taking place in the US market, and then adapt them for the European market.

#451HCTS: Has your time spent at HCTS led to future business relationships and deals?

AT: We never expect to attend something like this and come away with a signed lease or finance agreement. Instead, it is something for market insight, forming new relationships and cementing existing ones. We have done deals with people we have originally met at the Summit.

#451HCTS: How is HCTS different from other industry events that you attend?

AT: We would say that generally, 451 Research events set themselves above the competition in the quality of the presentations. Rather than rely on external companies, 451 is able to present their own research which, as well as having value in itself, stimulates debate from other participants. In terms of HCTS, we have experienced it as being the best attended by the broadest spectrum of the industry and the most senior of participants.

#451HCTS: Thanks again for your time.
