Account Executive (Boston or NY Based)

451 Research, an independent IT analyst company focused on the business of enterprise IT innovation, is seeking an Account Executive. This position will involve prospecting and closing new clients as well as some retention of existing clients. The position could be based in San Francisco, New York or Boston and offers a competitive total compensation package and room for growth within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic track record, strong communication and relationship management skills and three or more years of experience interacting with clients. Knowledge of the technology industry or syndicated research is a preferred, but not an absolute requirement. Prior experience selling to research is a plus. Accounts Payable Clerk - International (NY Based)

The 451 Group, an independent technology industry analyst and datacenter certification provider, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk – International to join our accounting department in our New York Office. We are seeking a well-organized, detail oriented and hardworking individual to fill this position. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the International accounts payable process and assisting with general accounting activities and international operations.

Responsibilities:
•Process all International vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements with proper coding per company requirements.
•Liaison with foreign accounting firms to ensure invoices and expenses are being recorded properly.
•Maintain and analyze AP aging reports.
•Resolve vendor billing and employee expense reimbursement discrepancies.
•Prepare analysis and reports associated with accounts payable.

Analyst, Datacenter Knowledge Base (NY or Boston Based)

451 Research, a leading information technology market research firm, seeks candidates for an Analyst role. The firm performs market research for clients, qualitatively and quantitatively, on all areas of information technology, from the datacenter all the way to mobile devices.

451 is undergoing a significant build out of its quantitative services and products. This Analyst will focus on the quantitative side working in close collaboration with multiple teams. The primary responsibility will be working with the Research Director to enhance a specific product focused on tracking and forecasting the market for colocation datacenters.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work through quantitative issues with data and then translate that story into what it means for other teams inside 451 and eventually externally for our clients. This Analyst will be naturally curious and have a strong work ethic. Prior knowledge of information technology or datacenters is not required.

Chief Technology Officer (Boston Based)

The Chief Technology Officer will provide overall leadership of the technology and information systems functions and infrastructure within the 451 Group. Working effectively as a contributing member of the management team  they will provide dynamic leadership and strategic direction, ensuring creative, effective and cost-efficient application of policies, philosophies, and organization-wide systems.

Role and Responsibility
•    Provide organizational direction with regards to all internal technologies  (production, decision support, productivity)

•    Create technology strategic plans and budgets with emphasis on cost/benefits analysis

Client Service Specialist (Boston Based)

Event Attendee Specialist (New York Based)

Position Description Summary:
The Event Attendee Specialist is responsible for executing audience acquisition strategies to secure high-level audiences for events across The 451 Group's portfolio, including hosted executive summits and paid-for marquee events. The role involves telesales and email outreach to potential delegate attendees.
 
The 451 Events team produces industry-defining events that drive the agenda for the global Digital Infrastructure community, which includes IT end users, service providers, vendors and investors.

Held in locations reflecting our global reach, 451 events are the platform to deliver actionable insight supporting strategic and tactical decision-making in areas driving the industry and growth market sectors.

At our events, attendees gain critical insight from 451 Research analysts, Uptime Institute practitioners and industry visionaries, as well as end-user best practices, delivered through groundbreaking keynotes, case-study presentations and one-on-one meetings – all underpinned by high-quality opportunities to network with and learn from industry peers.

Marketo Administrator (Boston Based)

451 Research is looking for a hands-on, business-minded individual with a strong technical grounding in the capabilities and functionality of the Marketo and Salesforce platforms. This role will serve on the CRM Administration team as 451's Marketo expert and will also help meet the day-to-day administration and maintenance needs of Salesforce.

Marketo Responsibilities
•    Own the Marketo environment and serve as the primary Marketo Administrator
•    Act as main point-of-contact for all internal Marketo inquiries.
•    Control the development, implementation and the ongoing management of Marketo processes
•    Implement modifications to Marketo set-up as changes to business requirements occur
•    Work with various business teams to understand processes and optimize system configuration
