Account Executive - Mid-Market IT Sector (Boston/NYC Based)

Title:             Account Executive - Core Accounts (Mid-Market IT Sector)

Overview:
451 Research, an independent IT analyst company focused on the business of enterprise IT innovation, is seeking an Account Executive. This position will involve prospecting and closing new clients as well as some retention of existing clients. 

The position could be based in New York or Boston offices and offers a competitive total compensation package and room for growth within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic track record, strong communication and relationship management skills and three or more years of experience interacting with clients. Knowledge of the technology industry or syndicated research is a preferred, but not an absolute requirement. 

Prior experience in Technology Sales, Market Research, and Technology Research/Solutions is a plus.

Account Receivable Specialist, Temp to Perm/Part Time to Full Time (NYC Based)

Title: Junior Accountant/Account Receivable Specialist (Temp to Perm)

The 451 Group, an independent technology-industry analysis and datacenter-certification provider, is seeking a Junior Accountant/Account Receivable Specialist to join the accounting department in our fast-paced New York office. The ideal candidate for this position is a well-organized, detail-oriented and hard-working individual.

  • You will be working within our accounting department in our Times Square, Manhattan office.
  • 20-25 hours per week in the beginning for few months then turns into 35-40 hours/week.

You must have:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Table, Vlookup)

  • Liaise with foreign entities with regard to invoicing
  • Prepare and analyze AR aging reports.
  • Compile account reconciliations, schedule preparation and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.

  • Support and assist in month-end close activities and preparation of financial statements.

Client Services Representative - Strategic Accounts (Boston Based)

The Strategic Client Service Representative works in collaboration with the sales team to ensure all needs of our clients are met.  The Strategic Client Service Representative is responsible for proactively driving, monitoring, and increasing client usage and satisfaction with contracted deliverables.  This includes proactive and reactive service by way of client requests and inquiries, coordination of the on-boarding process, web ID set-up, event participation, aligning client initiatives with relevant research, etc.

Core job functions include:

  • Field inbound client requests and research inquiries.

Research Director, Development, DevOps, and IT Ops (U.S Based)

Title: Research Director, Development, DevOps, and IT Ops

About the Role
As part of 451 Research’s Software coverage, our Development, DevOps, and IT Ops (DDI) team provides insights for our clients on topics such as software development, continuous integration and delivery, DevOps, private cloud, platforms as a service (PaaS), IT monitoring, IT service management, API management, hybrid-cloud integration, process orchestration, IT portfolio management and other services complementary to our infrastructure and services coverage. Working in conjunction with analysts in other channels, such as Systems and Software Infrastructure and Data Platforms and Analytics, our DDI team publishes regular research about the innovative technology vendors and service providers in this sector, as well as industry trends and potential future developments.

Our focus for this role is an individual who lead the overall research direction for this team and personally take responsibility for coverage of Development and DevOps.  Additionally, this individual will collaborate with analysts across 451 Research.

Profile
We are looking to recruit a research leader who can both manage a team of analysts and perform as a highly visible analyst and consultant.  A good mix of written and interpersonal skills are a necessity.
