Data Research Analyst (NY Based)

TheInfoPro, a division of 451 Research and the premier provider of peer-based research for Global 2000 Information Technology (IT) Professionals, is seeking a Data Research Analyst, responsible for data analysis and visualization, report production and chart creation, data collection programming, and questionnaire development.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic track record, a strong quantitative background, exceptional communication and relationship management skills, and at least two years of relevant data/analysis/research experience. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

Managing Director (San Francisco Based)

MANAGING DIRECTOR, WEST COAST

451 Research, an independent IT analyst company focused on the business of enterprise IT innovation, seeks a West Coast Sales Manager. As the West Coast Sales Manager you will lead an account executive team whose primary goal is to generate revenue and maximize profits. The position is based in our San Francisco office and offers a competitive total compensation package and room for growth within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic track record, strong communication and relationship management skills and seven or more years of sales experience with external clients. Knowledge of the technology industry or syndicated research services is a plus, and prior experience servicing or supporting the financial industry is a highly preferred. Responsibilities
•Direct the management staff in meeting sales objectives and goals.
•Plan, direct and implement sales programs for one or more of the company's product line.

Research Associate - Technology M&A (SF Based)

Research Associate  –  Technology M&A and Venture Funding

451 Research, an analyst firm focused on emerging and disruptive technologies, seeks a detail-oriented and highly curious researcher to gather and process financial data and insight related to acquisition and funding of technology companies.

This position will involve prospecting and closing new clients as well as some retention of existing clients. The position will be based in Boston and offers a competitive total compensation package and room for growth within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic track record, strong communication and relationship management skills and three or more years of experience interacting with clients. Knowledge and experience in the Telco industry or syndicated research is a preferred, but not an absolute requirement. Prior experience selling to research is required. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

Senior Analyst, European Services

The 451 Group is an independent technology-industry analyst company. Our research makes sense of swiftly moving trends in the information technologies (IT) used by large and midsized organizations. We have offices in the US and Europe.

We seek a senior analyst to work within a team focused on the colocation, managed infrastructure, network services, cloud services, IT Services, and application services markets. Our focus initially will be on the UK, France, DACH and Benelux markets, though the team will collaborate with multiple other 451 analysts covering other geographic markets and service offerings.

451 Research delivers value to its customers (and to a certain extent, the industry at large) from multiple perspectives and via multiple channels. Types of analysis include (but are not limited to) technology and technology innovation; competitive analysis of individual suppliers and the eco-systems they form; exploration of macro market trends; insight both of and for the “end user”; market sizing and forecasting; M&A analysis; financial analysis; interpretation of compliance and regulatory factors; etc.

Tasks:

Most 451 Research analysts come from a background as a practitioner, vendor, consultant, researcher, analyst, or technical journalist. Software Engineer (Boston or NY Based)

  • Work with a team to research, design and build a variety of web applications, services and intranet systems.
  • Utilize standards-based, open-source development stacks

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Ability to produce quality PHP code, review & update existing PHP code
  • Strong understanding of mark-up architecture (CSS and HTML).
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and general familiarity with at least one of the following libraries (jQuery, EXT JS, or MooTools)
  • Experience with database design concepts, MySQL & SQL construction
  • Experience with Linux/OSX command-line tools; comfortable working directly in the CLI
  • Familiarity with version control systems (git or subversion)
  • Experience in capturing and implementing software requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, four years of related software engineering experience.

Strategic Account Client Services Representative (Boston Based)

The ideal candidate for the position of Strategic Account Client Services Rep will have a Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic track record, strong communication and relationship management skills, and at least two years of experience interacting with clients. The Strategic Account Client Services Rep works in collaboration with the Client Sales Team to ensure that all needs of our clients are met. The Strategic Account Client Services Rep is responsible for proactively driving, monitoring and increasing client usage and satisfaction with contracted deliverables. This includes proactive and reactive service by way of client requests and inquiries, coordination of the on-boarding process, web ID setup, event participation, aligning client initiatives with relevant research and more. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and has a keen customer service orientation.

Core Job Functions Include:
•Field inbound client requests and research inquiries
•Develop a comprehensive understanding of 451 Research’s analysis, data and analyst expertise
•Proactively interact with clients regarding their business and technology issues to align with 451 Research’s analysis and data
•Input key data into internal CRM system (salesforce.com) by documenting all client interaction, as well as monitoring time logged for analyst/sales interaction
•Coordinate and facilitate Welcome Calls with new and renewing clients
•Partner with our IT team to troubleshoot any access issues clients may experience
