In our latest survey of some of the largest tech acquirers and their advisers, a record number of respondents indicated that they will be stepping out of the market in 2016. In fact, almost as many dealmakers said they would be slowing their M&A activity as said they would be accelerating. That's a significant deterioration from past surveys, where four times as many respondents have projected an increase than a decrease.
