Private Cloud Price Index: Data Tear Sheet Q3 2017

The market for private cloud today is value-driven, and buyers have their own reasons beyond price for choosing which cloud model -- managed or self-operating -- best suits their need. However, cost is still a major concern and the breadth of options in the market is making buyers shrewder in their purchasing decisions. We find some providers and vendors are price-matching in a bid to show cost-competitiveness while others are bundling value, specifically security and monitoring, in a bid to show a differentiated proposition.
