    Combining 451 Research's industry-leading analysis with our Leading Indicator and Population Representative panels for an accurate view of key trends, Voice of the Connected User Landscape: Endpoints & IoT, Consumer Smartphone Trends tracks mobile device manufacturers, operating systems and purchase plans. We track shifts in future buying behavior, purchasing details and customer satisfaction. This survey was fielded in Q2 2020, right as overall consumer spending began to recover after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite tracking a decrease in overall spending as compared to June 2019, consumers' plans to buy a smartphone remains steady (8% in June 2020 vs. 8% in June 2019). Both satisfaction and intent to repurchase from the same manufacturer remains highest for current owners of Apple, Samsung and Google smartphones.
