Nokia's new mantra: carrier-class networks at datacenter economics
The company got the drop on router rivals with the world's first multi-terabit NPU silicon, the NP4, but speeds and feeds are ephemeral advantages in the networking space. Luckily, Nokia is able to back up its new silicon with a router product line with a single OS, a real-time cloud analytics engine and cloud-targeted control enhancements to its network services platform.
